Numbers in parentheses represent the percentages of total infections (bacteremia and pneumonia) or percentage of all patients (ETT colonization rates). Infants may have been simultaneously or serially colonized with more than one organism, thus the sum of the organism-specific rates is greater than the overall rate of ETT colonization (49%).
