Peter C Albertsen is chief of urology and residency program director at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT. His research interests have focused on understanding the natural history of prostate cancer and the impact of treatment on health-related quality of life. He has published widely in the field of outcomes research in prostate cancer, including the impact of screening for prostate cancer. He is a past trustee of the American Board of Urology and has served as President of several national urological societies
