Representative IFN-γ (a) and IL-10 (b) ELISPOT wells for the splenocytes isolated from various treatment groups. ELISpot analysis revealed that IFN-γ production by splenic cells isolated from vaccinated hypercholesterolemic mice was significantly decreased (c), while production of IL-10 was significantly increased (d), when compared with hypercholesterolemic mice. The isolated splenocytes were stimulated with PHA (as positive control) or medium. Data are presented as mean ± SD, 7 mice/group
