The overlayed forecasted and reported monkeypox cases for the weeks of 7/28/2022 through the week of 10/13/2022 for the USA. The forecasts are derived from the weighted ensemble sub-epidemic model using 10-week calibration data, and the reported cases are obtained from the OWID GitHub [24]. The black circles to the left of the vertical line represent the reported cases as of the Friday of the forecast period; the solid red line corresponds to the best fit model; the dashed black lines correspond to the 95% prediction intervals. The black circles to the right of the vertical line represent the reported case counts (as of 10/21/2022) for the corresponding date. The vertical dashed black line indicates the start of the forecast period. For the week of 7/28/2022, data posted by the OWID team on 8/9/2022 was used to produce the forecast as it was the earliest version of data available
