  1. The correlation of genes for interleukin-6 (IL6), monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP1), tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα), and interleukin-1beta (IL1β) with BAT-related genes, i.e. cell death-inducing DFFA-like effector A (CIDEA), ELOVL fatty acid elongase 3 (ELOVL3), perilipin 5 (PLIN5) and solute carrier family 27 member 2 (SLC27A2), was assessed using the Pearson correlation test.
