Association of the radioresistance (RadR) score with the molecular subtypes or anatomical sites of human papillomavirus (HPV)-negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The RadR score was computed in 421 (TCGA), 179 (GSE39366), and 82 (GSE65858) primary HPV-negative HNSCC, respectively. In all three datasets, the RadR score was compared between the four molecular subtypes previously described [25, 26] (At atypical, Ba basal, Cl classical, Me mesenchymal) (a) as well as between four distinct anatomical sites (OC oral cavity, OP oropharynx, HP hypopharynx, L larynx) (b), using a Kruskal–Wallis test.
