  1. The association of each factor with severe outcomes was determined in univariable and multivariable Cox regression models. Sex, age, country, treatment arm, body mass index (BMI), baseline TB status, CD4 count, viral load, anemia, and hypoalbuminemia were adjusted for in the multivariable models. Severe outcomes were defined as death, serious bacterial infections/sepsis, and opportunistic infections. N = 254 (81 cases, 173 controls)
