Results for red ROC curve: AUC=0.82 (95% CI = 0.80 to 0.85) for clinical factors including age at blood collection, age at diagnosis, cancer stage at diagnosis, Gleason score at diagnosis, cigarettes smoked per day and BMI. Results for blue ROC curve: AUC=0.86 (95% CI = 0.84 to 0.88) for clinical factors and five metabolites selected from the forward stepwise regression models, including gamma-glutamylglutamate, heptenedioate (C7:1-DC), oxalate, arachidonate (20:4n6) and linoleoyl ethanolamide (AUC 0.86 versus 0.82, P value = 0.04)
