In this example, the predicted values of two regression models (including and excluding a variable called FLGROSS) are compared. The scatterplot shows similar values for most observations, with points close to the diagonal. The Bland–Altman plot, with differences on the y-axis (on log-scale for MA plots on omics data typically log-ratios), better visualizes the dependence on the average value of the predictions (typically average log intensity for MA plots).
