The journal is grateful for your support in our mission of serving the research community and inspiring progress on clinical and health outcomes for people worldwide. Marketing and Advocacy

Our marketing team works with our in-house editors to promote journal content and milestones, calls for papers and special initiatives. We are committed to reaching the widest possible audience, using an evolving mix of digital channels including paid search, email campaigns, paid and organic social media and display advertising, as well as visibility at key conferences and events.

However, word of mouth from a colleague, especially a Board Member, is the best form of promotion the journal can receive and we would appreciate your help in spreading the word.

1) Engage with us on Social Media

Follow us on Twitter @BMCMedicine, and tag us in your Tweets so we can stay engaged and help promote your attendance at conferences.

The journal’s Twitter account and social media presence is monitored by our Editorial Assistant — please feel free to email them at bmcmedicineeditorial@biomedcentral.com at any time for any social media queries or requests. You can also direct message us if you would like to share any news or media relating to the journal at any point. We also encourage you to promote the journal via any appropriate listservs or online communities (i.e. Reddit or blogs) to which you may belong – the journal’s aim is to be a public forum for researchers around the world.

2) Opportunities at Conferences and Events

We are happy to promote your attendance at any conference you may attend via our Twitter account. You may also share your attendance on social media, as this is an effective way of raising awareness of the journal around key events. If you’re giving a presentation, download our journal slide to add to your slideshow. You may also wish to download and print or email around our journal flyer.

Due to the current global health situation, BMC Medicine Editors are not currently attending in-person conferences. We plan to begin traveling again as circumstances permit.
